ZERO ENERGY LEED HOUSE:
A strong team approach was used in this project to result in a home anticipated to have zero energy costs as well as qualify as a LEED Platinum home, the highest recognition in energy efficiency and environmental sensitivity. Donald Watson, FAIA who is recognized nationally in solar design, conceived the design. Ferut Architects developed the design and construction details. The Owner led the efforts to become zero energy and LEED Platinum. The construction was executed by a contractor who was enthusiastic about the extra efforts and care to realize the goals and aspirations of the Owner.
