ELY PARK GAZEBO:
The addition of this small structure to Ely Square has had a significant impact on this public space. The classical design was modeled after studies of European gazebos and pavilions, especially those found in English markets. In addition to being a focal point in the park, this structure serves a variety of purposes from concert performances to wedding ceremonies. The pavilion has become a landmark structure to the citizens of Elyria.

Significant to this project was the collaborative effort with the city of Elyria and the Lorain County Joint Vocational School. Students from carpentry classes were responsible for the rough framing and finish carpentry for this project. Their fine efforts resulted in a building made reality through teamwork.
