COMMUNITY RETREAT CENTER:
Design for a new community retreat center nestled along a wooded country creek. This new facility will include overnight accommodations for guests as well as a multi-purpose activity center.

Use of a number of sustainable building technologies is anticipated with a focus on natural/passive energy strategies. Individual guest cottages feature natural daylighting, ventilation and passive solar heating. The Activity Center will be earth-bermed with a natural vegetative “green” roof.
